Hi, I'm Todd Rogers. I built this app to get back into programming after taking a break to go sailing in the Caribbean.

While living on our boat, I used a spreadsheet to track our inventory across different storage areas. This system worked, but I always thought there could be a better way.

Inspired by my time at Amazon, I realized that chaotic storage—a method of optimizing space by storing items in random locations—could be applied beyond warehouses. It became invaluable on the boat and later in our home, allowing us to maximize space and find items quickly.

Troovi evolved from that experience, aiming to make it easier for people to track and find their items, whether they're on a boat, in a house, or anywhere else.
